31:1. যখন নিস্তারপর্বের উত্সব উদয়াপন শেষ হল, তখন নিস্তারপর্বের জন্য যে সমস্ত ইস্রাযেলবাসী জেরুশালেমে উপস্থিত হয়েছিলেন, তাঁরা যিহূদার বিভিন্ন শহরগুলিতে গেলেন এবং পাথরের তৈরী মূর্ত্তিগুলো ভেঙ্গে টুকরো টুকরো করলেন| আশেরার খুঁটি উপড়ে ফেলে যিহূদা ও বিন্যামীনের সর্বত্র উচ্চ স্থলগুলি ভেঙ্গে দেওয়া হল| ইফ্রয়িম ও মনঃশিতেও একই জিনিস করা হল| মূর্ত্তি পূজোর যাবতীয় চিহ্ন নিশ্চিহ্ন না হওয়া পর্য়ন্ত লোকেরা এইসব করে যেতে লাগলো| তারপর ইস্রায়েলীয়রা নিজেদের শহরে যে যার বাড়িতে ফিরে গেল|

31:1. When all this was over, the Israelites who were in the cities of Judah went out and smashed the sacred pillars, cut down the Asherah poles, and demolished all the high places and altars throughout Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh. Then all the Israelites returned to their own homes in their cities.

31:1. When the festival ended, the Israelites who attended went to all the towns of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh, and they smashed all the sacred pillars, cut down the Asherah poles, and removed the pagan shrines and altars. After this, the Israelites returned to their own towns and homes.

Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake in pieces the pillars, and hewed down the Asherim, and brake down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

And at the completion of all this, gone out have all Israel who are found present to the cities of Judah, and break the standing-pillars, and cut down the shrines, and break down the high places and the altars, out of all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, even to completion, and all the sons of Israel turn back, each to his Possession, to their cities.

31:1. When the Passover celebration was finished, the Israelites who were in Jerusalem for Passover went out to the towns of Judah. Then they smashed the stone idols that were in the towns. These stone idols were used to worship false gods. They also cut down the Asherah poles. And they destroyed the high places and the altars all through the areas of Judah and Benjamin. They did the same things in the area of Ephraim and Manasseh. They did these things until they destroyed all the things used for worshiping the false gods. Then all the Israelites went back home to their own towns.
